Front of House
People who work in Front of House departments typically have face-to-face contact with guests every day. A friendly and caring personality is important here, along with a commitment to providing guests with an exceptional level of personal service. Our hotels never close, so if you work Front of House you may be asked to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekend and public holidays. Front of House departments include: Servers, Bartenders, Front Desk, Banquet Staff, Pool Monitor
Back of House
The Back of House departments are the engine room of any hotel. The Back of House team work hard behind the scenes to bring in business, keep the hotel maintained to a high standard and ensure that guests enjoy every aspect of their stay. Back of House departments include: Cook, Dishwasher, Housekeeping, Porter, Houseman
Please know what even though one position may be identified as front or back of the house, you may come in contact with a hotel guest in any position.
General Job Descriptions:
Housekeeping - Clean guest rooms
Front Desk - Check-in guests, book reservations, answer phones with guest related questions.
Porter - Should have a polite and friendly manner as you will assist guest with luggage.
Banquet Staff - Set-up and breakdown for banquets, serve food, clear tables.
Server - The Restaurant Server will provide food and beverage service to our guests in an expedient, professional, friendly and courteous manner.
Pool Monitor - Overseeing the Holidome, keeping pool and play area clean, interacting with children and families, ensuring all guests are safe in the pool area. (Friday & Saturday evenings, 8-16 hours a week)
Houseman - assist housekeepers with removing trash and linens from dirty rooms, sorting laundry, public area cleaning.
Banquet Event Manager - This is an operational position, overseeing all banquet, convention and meeting events. Overseeing staff of approximately 30 people.
